Hello! It's been far too long since I've posted any news here on this website.

2009 started out as a pretty rocky year, but has turned out to be rather great for me! I finally got out of a relationship back during the winter and became a hermit for a little while there. My seclusion really had less to do with healing any wounded heart and more to do with my coursework at school. Software Design is hard! However, I'm thrilled to report that the end of my degree program is near.

I'm also thrilled to report that my life has incredible lately. I've been meeting tons of new people lately, so I'm feeling energized and pumped up for life in general.

I've got a mix CD that will be available on CDbaby sometime very soon. It's going to feature some of my highest selling tracks from iTunes and some unreleased music. Watch for it!

Hello everyone. Creating albums is HARD! I've been working on various tracks for quite some time now and the end is getting near. The process of putting out the best music that I'm capable of is a bit harder for some reason on this trek out than it has been in the past. Patience is key!

In other news, I've been establishing some relationships with new musicians local to the Boston area. This is a sort of new thing because the idea of a band has turned my stomach since 2006 with the demise of The Killbabies. Time heals all things, so maybe this is a good thing ... ?

PS I fucking hate U2! I would rather hear two male unicorns fuck than hear Bono or the Edge make music. They really are terrible, so fuck them both and fuck U2. And, if you are offended or disagree, fuck you too.

Hello to everyone reading this blog. I have been working on my latest album, which is due out before summer of this year. I have been having a quite a bit of fun in enjoying the process, and feel as though I have been hitting my creative stride. Every artist knows what this feels like. It is the point at which everything just starts falling into place on a creative-level.

Some of things that I've learned about making records of the years have been particularly coming into play with this effort. I am less-concerned with perfection in the absolute sense and more focused on making the best record that I am capable of. Since I am not a classically trained artist, a guitar god, or a pop-singer with a huge budget (and so on), my approach doesn't need to be as grandiose. As simple as it sounds, realizing this and fully understanding it has made the process much more rewarding and (frankly) easier.

Have you heard the new U2 song "Get your boots"? It is terrible. They are such a product of media whoring. The Edge is rather terrible. The strange thing about U2 is the fact that the guys in the background are far better than Bono and The Edge. Whatever. They suck and should hang it up in my opinion.

There are two new projects currently in the works that I wanted to mention.

Project One:

A retrospective. This will be direct download only and will feature twelve tracks. Ten of which will be the most popular tracks via download sales, the other two will be unreleased tracks picked from my archive.

Release date: April '09.

Project Two:

This project will be a full release (CD and Download) and has been in production off and on for quite some time. The songs are made up of sampled content from my massive vinyl collection. It has some live elements, but mostly it is sampled content woven into new songs. I'm thrilled with this release so far and I'm sure that you'll love it.

Release date: June '09.
